Swappable lenses would allow you to change the lenses on your smart glasses as you took them off and put them back on. Each lens would be a solid holographic sheet of plastic. The first pair could be something like prescription smart glasses, and later best digital glasses could be prescription-free. If you were nearsighted, you would put on a pair of smart glasses containing a "normal" lens, and best digital glasses with a special lens that changes its polarization as it's moved.
